A Bash at Digital Life Drawing

Had great fun last week taking my Cintiq tablet, a laptop and a copy of Painter X to a life drawing class. I have real trouble working with tone with natural media - can't make anything but a mess with charcoal. So really pleased with these 'cos I managed to not rely on line drawing for a change.

CGSociety Workshop - New Bargue

Here's an image I've been working for the artistic anatomy forum at CGSociety
The workshops all about Bargue Drawings. Essentially that means copying other works of art in order to learn anatomy and stuff. Those clever buggers at CGSociety had the great idea of using 3D models from the 3d members as the source material for us 2d guys to learn from.
